Pertaining to a Seventeenth Rider to Agreement with the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners to allow replacement of a culvert from Vadnais Park to Vadnais Lake.

WHEREAS, an Agreement between the Board of County Commissioners of Ramsey County (“County”) and the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul (“Board”) dated June 6, 1966 provided permission for the County to enter upon Board property to carry out necessary operations in respect of certain County improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Board is owner of a parcel in the North half of the SW quarter of Section 32, Township 30 North, Range 22 West, Ramsey County, Minnesota, Property Identification Number 32.30.22.22.0002, commonly known as Vadnais Park, (the “Premises”); and
WHEREAS, at this time the County desires permission to replace an existing stormwater culvert underneath the road surface of Vadnais Boulevard from Vadnais Park to Vadnais Lake; and
WHEREAS, the Board is willing to grant said permission, consistent with the requirements and safety of the works of the Board; and
WHEREAS, staff has prepared a Seventeenth Rider to Agreement which grants permission for said activities, and which protects the Board’s rights, interests and facilities, and the assistant city attorney has approved it as to form; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul does hereby approve the Seventeenth Rider to Agreement with the Board of Commissioners of Ramsey County in substantially the form submitted, and that the proper officers are hereby directed and authorized to execute said Rider on behalf of the Board.
