Authorizing the Police Department to amend the 2021 Special Fund Budget to more accurately reflect the revenue and spending in multiple accounts in our 2021 Special Projects Fund.

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department (SPPD) budget had been approved for 2021; and
WHEREAS, the 2021 financing and spending plan for multiple accounts in the 2021 Special Projects Fund need to be amended; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation total revenues and spending in excess of those estimated in the budget, funds of $1,854,635 in the Police Department Special Projects Fund; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor that $1,854,635 is available for appropriation in the Police Department Special Fund, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the particulars as specified in the attached financial analysis.
