Approving a Liquor-Outdoor Service Area (Patio) expansion and Liquor-Outdoor Service Area (Sidewalk) added to the existing Liquor On Sale-100 seats or less and Liquor On-Sale-Sunday licenses held by Iron Ranger Inc. d/b/a Iron Ranger (License ID #20210000222) located at 1085 Grand Avenue.

WHEREAS, Iron Ranger Inc. d/b/a Iron Ranger (License ID #20210000222) applied for an expansion of the Liquor-Outdoor Service Area (Patio) and Liquor-Outdoor Service Area (Sidewalk) license for the premises located at 1085 Grand Avenue in Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, the licensee currently holds a Liquor On Sale - 100 seats or less and Liquor On Sale - Sunday license; and
WHEREAS, the licensee submitted a “good faith” email outlining his attempt to attain signatures required by the City of Saint Paul from residential property owners; and
WHEREAS, records indicate the licensee had obtained twenty-two (22) out of fifty-eight (58) possible petition signatures for thirty-eight percent (38%) support of a Liquor-Outdoor Service Area (Patio) expansion; and
WHEREAS, The Department of Safety and Inspections received a letter from Summit Hill Association on June 2, 2021 supporting the Liquor-Outdoor Service Area (Patio) expansion; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Safety and Inspections received no other objections to the issuance of the license; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the application is in order, the conditions recommended are reasonable and there are no grounds to deny approval of the expansion of the licenses; now, therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, the expansion of Liquor-Outdoor Service Area (Patio) and Liquor-Outdoor Service Area (Sidewalk) license is hereby approved and issued to Iron Ranger Inc. d/b/a Iron Ranger (License ID #20210000222) located at 1085 Grand Avenue in Saint Paul.
