Authorizing the Fire Department to accept the donation of 25 headsets valued at $12,500 from the Saint Paul Fire Foundation.

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Fire Foundation has offered to donate 25 headsets that are compatible with our current radios valued at $12,500 to the Saint Paul Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department would like to accept the donation of the 25 headsets from the Saint Paul Fire Foundation; and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of this donation is to provide Fire Equipment Operators with hearing protection and the ability to communicate on scene next to noisy vehicles; Now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts this donation of the 25 headsets from the Saint Paul Fire Foundation and thanks them for their generous gift.
