Title

Changing the rate of pay for the Operations and Laborer Trainee classification in EG 71, Tri-Council Laborers/Groundsworkers (laid over from April 28)

Body

WHEREAS, the Office of Human Resources conducted a study for the Operations and Laborer Trainee classification; and

WHEREAS, the results of the study instruct that the rate of pay for Operations and Laborer Trainee be changed from the existing $16.99 - $21.25 hourly to the increased $21.50 - $24.50 hourly in Grade 027, Employee Group 71, Tri-Council Laborers/Groundsworkers as shown below, now therefore, be it

RESOLVED, pursuant to City Charter Sections 6.03.3(5) and 12.01, that the rate of pay for the Operations and Laborer Trainee be established at the increased rate set forth for Grade 027. This resolution shall take effect and be in force on the first pay period following its passage and approval.

Grade 027

Step 1:  1^st 1040 hours = $21.50/hour

Step 2:  2^nd 1040+ 2080 hours = $24.50/hour
