Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Public Works Capital Budget to add Ramsey County funding for multiple traffic signal improvement projects.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the City has several projects to complete traffic signal improvements in cooperation with Ramsey County; and

WHEREAS, Ramsey County has agreed to fund these improvements as per the cooperative agreement PUBW2021-01 authorized by Council Resolution 21-135; and

WHEREAS, there is a need to add $641,520 of Ramsey County funding to the 2018 Signalized Intersection and Safety Improvements Program for the Payne Avenue Signal Interconnect, Como Avenue Signal Interconnect, Cleveland and Randolph Signal Reconstruction, Lexington at Concordia and St. Anthony Signal Reconstruction Projects; and

WHEREAS, there is a need to add $15,215 of Ramsey County funding to the 2019 Downtown Signal Enhancement Project; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there is available for appropriation funds of $656,735; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $656,735 is available for appropriation in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvements Budgets in the following particulars:
