Authorizing application and acceptance of a grant from the Knight Foundation to support evaluation and program design for Community-First Public Safety efforts.

WHEREAS, the Knight Foundation has granted the Office of Technology and Communication $20,000 to implement a technology platform to 1) evaluate the efficacy of Community-First Public Safety, 2) provide issue specific insights on COVID-19 and Community-First Public Safety to shape communications and policy development, and 3) use insights on residents’ engagement with City services to shape a “Services First” approach to Digital Transformation,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City of Saint Paul, through the Saint Paul City Council, accepts the grant.
