Making finding on the appealed nuisance abatement ordered for 1597 JACKSON STREET in Council File SAO 21-7.

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH SAO 21-7 on February 17, 2021 which granted an extension to March 1, 2021 to abate the nuisance conditions such as trash, couches, tents, tarps, grill, scrap wood and metal throughout the vacant lot at 1597 Jackson Street; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on March 2, 2021 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions were not abated; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding of the legislative hearing officer that the nuisance condition is not abated and therefore authorizes the Department of Safety and Inspections to proceed with this nuisance.
