Title

Preliminary Order setting the date of Public Hearing for April 14, 2021 to consider approval of the 2021 Saint Paul Streets Program. (Project 19233, Assessment 215200)

 

Body

In the Matter of approving all necessary work for the reconstruction of streets in the 2021 Saint Paul Streets Program, proposed improvements are outlined in the attached Summary of Engineering Recommendations (SOER).

 

The area to be improved is:

 

                     Griggs/Scheffer Residential Area, Phase II (map included with SOER)

 

The Council of the City of Saint Paul, having received the report of the Mayor upon the above improvement and having considered said report, hereby resolves:

 

1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $17,088,000, financed by Street Reconstruction Bonds, Municipal State Aid, Federal Grant, Saint Paul Regional Water Services funding, and Sewer funds.

 

2. That a public hearing be had on the assessment on the 14th day of April, 2021 at the hour of 3:30 p.m., via electronic meeting due to COVID-19.

 

3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
