Authorizing the City enter into an agreement with the Union Pacific Railroad Company (UPRR) for the Kellogg/Third Street Bridge Project.
Body
WHEREAS, UPRR owns and operates a line of railroad in and through the City of Saint Paul, State of Minnesota;
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul is planning to reconstruct the Kellogg/Third Street Bridge over the UPRR railroad tracks; and
WHEREAS, the City has requested that UPRR perform certain engineering services with respect to its railroad facilities located at or near the project site; and
WHEREAS, UPRR is agreeable to performing the Work, subject to the terms and conditions of the agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City agrees to reimburse UPRR for the costs incurred in performing the work estimated to be $60,000; and now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed for on behalf of the City to enter into this agreement with the Union Pacific Railroad Company, a copy of which is before Council and is made a part hereof; and, be it finally
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
