Title

Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to accept funds in the amount of $85,000 from the Capitol Region Watershed District (CRWD), amending the financing and spending plan to reflect the funding received and the reimbursement of Foursome for the upfront cost of BMP improvements at Como Golf Course.  

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has an agreement with Capitol Region Watershed District to be reimbursed up to $85,000 in improvement costs at Como Golf Course; and

 

WHEREAS, Foursome partners with the City to operate Como Golf Course and incurred the original cost for BMP improvements at the facility; and

 

WHEREAS, upon receipt of this funding from Capital Region Watershed District, the Department of Parks and Recreation wishes to deposit the funding into a Capital Improvement and Maintenance Fund and reimburse Foursome for their original expense; and

 

WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation wishes to accept said funding and amend the financing and spending plan in the Department of Parks and Recreation in the amount of $85,000; and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.01 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation, funds of $85,000 in excess of those estimated in the current Parks and Recreation Special Services Budget; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul Council authorizes acceptance of the funds and approves these amendments for the Parks and Recreation 2021 Budget.
