Title

Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to reallocate $328,328 of 2021 General Fund Budget within accounting units to most accurately reflect the location of projected actual spending.  The Community First Public Safety increase for 2021 was originally included in an existing accounting unit budget, but Parks and Recreation now wishes to move this funding in to the newly created Community First Public Safety accounting unit budget, to provide the most effective financial tracking specific to this program.          

Body

Administrative Order, consistent with the authority granted to the Mayor in section 10.07.4 of the City Charter and based on the request of the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation to amend the 2021 budget for the reallocation of funds within existing budgets.  This is an attempt to have the Parks and Recreation General Fund budget most accurately reflect the anticipated spending actuals at a detailed level, which will also allow for the availability of sufficient spending authority within each accounting unit budget.  Parks and Recreation wishes to reallocate a total of $328,328 as listed.  The Director of the Office of Financial Services is authorized to amend said budget in the particulars as indicated in the attached financial analysis.
