Authorizing the Police Department to accept a gift from the Minneapolis Police Federation Charities.

WHEREAS, the Minneapolis Police Federation Charities is donating ½ of the Stuff the Sleigh proceeds, $3,087.25 from the 2019 gala to the Saint Paul Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the SPPD would like to accept these generous donations from the Minneapolis Police Federation Charities for which the public purpose is for children in need during the holidays; and
WHEREAS, the 2021 budget and activity budget need to be amended for this donation from the Minneapolis Police Federation Charities; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation total revenues in excess of those estimated in the budget, funds of $3,087.25 in the Special Fund; now
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts this generous donation.
