Title
Amending the 2020 Financing and Spending Budget for Public Works, Sewer Utility Fund and the Grant Fund related to the 2018 MCES Inflow and Infiltration Demonstration Project Grant.
Body
WHEREAS, the Grant Agreement between Metropolitan Council and the City of Saint Paul, Public Works has been accepted per RES 18-1951 in the amount of $500,000 in grant monies; and
WHEREAS, in 2019 the transfer outlined in RES PH 19-61 was not completed and the 2020 budgeted transfer was not completed; and
WHEREAS, the resolution also includes 2019 Unused Fund Balance of $134,159 and will bring the revised budget to the project level; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.01 of the City Charter certifies that there is available for appropriation funds of $1,134,159 in excess of those budgeted in the special fund in 2020;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor, approves the amendments to the operating and grant fund budgets as detailed in the attached financial analysis.
