Appeal of Alex Delendik to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 609 SIMS AVENUE.

Purpose of Appeal:  After Attorney General complaint order to vacate was cancelled by the Attorney General, the unit is inaccessible due to tenants complaint and new locks. Unit is in tenants possession, entry is prohibited.  Inspection did not get a notice of occupancy continued and referral to VBR.  Ask to put to CAT 1 to give time to fix properly.  Bill: 1533313 Notice Nov. 4th.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Alex Delendik to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 609 SIMS AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the apppeal, but will waive the vacant building fee for 90 days to February 3, 2021; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
