Stated Reason for Appeal (if given): Property owner stated that he made a payment through his personal account for the Q2 2020 invoice
Staff Comments: Staff confirmed with hauler that the only payment made on the account in 2020 was on 8/03/2020 for $97.72. This was for the Q3 2020 invoice. Therefore staff recommends approving the assessment. It is important to note that the assessment includes the charge for a 64-gal cart from 03/01/2020 - 06/30/2020 (plus late fees) due to service being reinstated at the property during Q1 2020.

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section has attached to this Council File both a report of completion outlining the costs and fees associated with Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for service during April to June 2020. (File No. CG2003A3, Assessment No. 200141) and the assessment roll including all properties for which these assessments are proposed for Council ratification; and

WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed an appeal of this assessment and developed a recommendation for the City Council with respect to this assessment; and

WHEREAS, a public hearing having been conducted for the above improvement, and said assessment having been further considered by the Council and having been considered financially satisfactory; Now, Therefore, Be It
