Appeal of Somdy Kong to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 686 EDMUND AVENUE.

 

Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, October 20, 2020, teleconference call between 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  St. Paul Police came and raided the property of 686 Edmund Avenue.  The Fire C of O inspector came and condemned the property.  My tenants messed the house up.  Now, I'm in the process of fixing the house up.  (paraphrased)

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Somdy Kong to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 686 EDMUND AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal, but waive the vacant building fee for 90 days until January 6, 2021 and allow permits to be pulled; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
