Amending the spending plans for various city departments in the General Fund.
Body
WHEREAS the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted City department budgets in calendar year 2020; and
WHEREAS as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic City Council reduced discretionary spending by $300,000; and
WHEREAS City Council would like to reallocate $200,000 towards funding for a Health & Wellness Coordinator in the Fire department; and
WHEREAS City Council would like to reallocate $100,000 towards funding for the ETHOS program in the City Attorney's department; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.4 in of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul does certify that there are available for transfer of appropriations funds of $300,000 to transfer between departments; now
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor, that the city operating budget, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the particulars as specified in the attached financial analysis.
