Returned Mail/Notice Concerns?:

Stated Reason for Appeal (if given): Property owner stated that they submitted a temporary service hold in November 2019 that was valid through May 15, 2020. Due to COVID, they called Advanced Disposal and requested that the hold be extended. Therefore, they want to know why they were charged for Q2 2020.

Staff Comments: Hauler confirmed that invoice had already been generated for 5/14/20 - 6/30/20 before the property owner called and stated they needed to extend the date. Therefore the invoice of $34.94 that was for service from 5/14/2020 - 06/30/2020 was sent to the city as an assessment. The hauler requested that the assessment be removed. Therefore, staff recommends removing the assessment.
