WHEREAS on September 2, 2020, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. RLH TA 20-115, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessment for Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during January to March 2020. (File No. CG2002E3, Assessment No. 200138); and
WHEREAS, the property at 309 Aurora Avenue, being described as: Elfelt, Bernheimer & Arnolds Addition to St. Paul Lot 19 Blk 3, with the property identification number 36-29-23-42-0042 was to approve the assessment of $251.22 as owner did not appeal; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff requested that this assessment be reduced from $251.22 to $202.02 by removing the late fees of $49.20 due to lack of billing clarity on the part of the hauler; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends the reduction of this assessment; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the reduction of $251.22, plus any accrued interests, be reduced to $202.02. Council File No. RLH TA 20-453 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
