WHEREAS, the Massage Practitioner license application submitted by Kao Vang (License ID #20190001182) for the premises located at 2140 Ford Parkway Saint Paul was the subject of a Notice of Intent to Deny License dated September 17, 2020; and
WHEREAS, March 29, 2019, during a routine criminal history check as part of the license application process the Department of Safety and Inspections learned that the Licensee had been convicted on January 15, 2020 of a Gambling Violation in Anoka County; and
WHEREAS, based on this information and pursuant to Saint Paul Legislative Code Section 414.04 (a) the licensing office has recommended that the Licensee’s application is denied; and
WHEREAS, the applicant did not respond to the September 17, 2020 Notice of Intent to Deny License by requesting a public hearing, Administrative hearing or withdraw the license application by October 2, 2020 now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Massage Practitioner license application submitted by Kao Vang (License ID #20190001182) for the premises located at 2140 Ford Parkway in Saint Paul is hereby denied.
