Title

Pertaining to an Amendment No. 1 to Contract No. 2639 with HR Green, Inc. to provide professional services for design of the motor control center at the West Side Pumping Station.

 

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul entered into a contract with HR Green Inc. dated April 27, 2020 to provide an evaluation of the Board’s West Side Pumping Station transient pressure, valve actuator, pump capacity, and pump efficiency at a cost not to exceed $25,000 (“Contract No. 2639”); and

 

WHEREAS, at this time, the Board and HR Green Inc. desire to enter into an Amendment No. 1 to Contract No. 2639 to provide for the design of pumps, actuators, controls, and/or valves at its West Side Pumping Station based on evaluations of required flow and pressures for the Board’s customers served by the West Side Pumping Station at a cost not to exceed $25,700; and 

 

WHEREAS, said amendment would increase the total amount not to exceed for Contract No. 2639 to $50,700; and

 

WHEREAS, City of Saint Paul Municipal Code Section 86.02 requires Board authorization for any contract over $50,000; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul hereby approves Amendment No. 1 to Contract No. 2639 with HR Green Inc. to provide for the design of pumps, actuators, controls, and/or valves at its West Side Pumping Station at a cost not to exceed $25,700, increasing the total not to exceed amount for Contract No. 2639 to $50,700; and, be it

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the Board are hereby authorized and directed to execute said amendment following approval by the assistant city attorney.
