Amending Council File RLH AR 19-64 to delete the assessment for Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during January to March 2019 at 930 JESSAMINE AVENUE EAST. (File No. CG1902B3, Assessment No. 190107)

WHEREAS on September 11, 2019, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. RLH AR 19-80, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessment for Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during January to March 2019. (File No. CG1902B3, Assessment No. 190107); and
WHEREAS, the property at 930 Jessamine Avenue East, being described as: Eastville Heights Lot 3 Blk 15, with the property identification number 28-29-22-22-0064 was assessed an amount of $110.48; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff requested that this assessment be abated from the 2020 Property Taxes Statement because the property was vacant from October 2018 through July 2020 and should have not been charged for garbage; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer concurs with the recommendation; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the reduction of $110.48, plus any accrued interests, is deleted and the Offices of Financial Services will abate this reduction from the 2020 Property Taxes Statement.
