Title

Amending Council Files RLH VO 20-31, adopted August 12, 2020, to grant Owner, Robert Radeke, an additional extension for property at 1157 and 1159 DAYTON AVENUE.

Body

WHEREAS, on August 12, 2020, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File #RLH VO 20-31, said Resolution being the memorialization of an appeal to a Revocation of Fire Certificate of Occupancy and Order to Vacate at 1157 Dayton and 1159 Dayton Avenue; and

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing recommended that the City Council grant an extension to September 11, 2020 for compliance or vacate the property by October 1, 2020; and

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council considered the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter; and

WHEREAS, the Robert Radeke is requesting additional extension for the compliance of the Fire Revocation Order; and

WHEREAS, a Legislative Hearing was conducted on September 8, 2020 to review the appeal regarding the second story deck or porch area and it was noted that the 2^nd floor has been blocked to prevent tenant(s) from exiting or falls;

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends granting additional extension to November 6, 2020 with a vacate date of December 6, 2020 for non-compliance; Now Therefore, Be It,

RESOLVED, the Saint paul City Council accepts and adopts the recommendation of the Legislative Hearing Officer.
