Body
WHEREAS, the Taxicab Driver license held by Michael David Gibbons (License ID #19980002318) for the City of Saint Paul was the subject of a Notice of Intent to Revoke License dated July 29, 2020; and
WHEREAS, during a routine criminal history check as part of the license renewal process it was discovered that the licensee was convicted in Ramsey County on October 28, 2019 of Disorderly Conduct in violation of Minn. Stat. § 609.72.1 (3); and
WHEREAS, the licensee was placed on Unsupervised Probation for one (1) year scheduled to expire on October 28, 2020; and
WHEREAS, based on this information, per Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.15 (e) (3) (a) the licensing office recommended revocation of his taxicab driver license; and
WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Revoke License to request either a public or administrative hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Revoke License stated that if the licensee failed to request either a public or administrative hearing by August 12, 2020, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Taxicab Driver license held by Michael David Gibbons for the City of Saint Paul is hereby revoked.
