WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council on:

§ April 22, 2020, by Resolution number 20-646, approved the applications by the City of Saint Paul’s Department of Planning and Economic Development (PED) to DEED for Contamination Cleanup and Investigation grants for the Hazel Assisted Living ( 1105 and 1109 Hazel Street North) and the University Avenue West Apartment (1845 University Avenue) projects;

§ May 6, 2020, by Resolution number 20-673, authorized PED to apply to the Metropolitan Council Tax Base Revitalization Account Fund for the Hazel Assisted Living Project at 1105 and 1109 Hazel Street North and the Fairview/University Apartments Project at 1845 University Avenue West;

§ May 6, 2020, by Resolution number 20-674, authorized PED to apply to the Metropolitan Council’s Livable Communities Demonstration Account Pre-Development Fund for YWCA St. Paul Redevelopment (375 Selby Avenue);

§ May 6, 2020, by Resolution number 20-675, authorized PED to apply to the Metropolitan Council’s Livable Communities Demonstration Account Transit-Oriented Pre-Development Fund for Keystone Community Services; and

WHEREAS, DEED approved the following grant applications:

§ Contamination Cleanup grants of $245,956.00 for Hazel Assisted Living (1105 and 1109 Hazel Street North), and $330,755.00 for Fairview and University (1845 University Avenue West); and
