Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department in the amount of $283,186 for the COVID-19 Health Care Response grant from the Minnesota Department of Health.
Body
WHEREAS, the Fire Department applied for and received a grant of $283,186 from the Minnesota Department of Health to pay for overtime expenses and personal protective equipment needed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul received approval to apply for funding relating to COVID-19 on RES 20-600; and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the funding received; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation of funds $283,186 in excess of those estimated in the 2020 budget; and

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts this grant, and hereby approves the changes to the 2020 budget referenced in this resolution.
