Recognizing Matt Anfang for dedicated service to the Board of Water Commissioners.

WHEREAS, Commissioner Matt Anfang has served diligently in his capacity as a member and President of the Board of Water Commissioners, representing the City of Saint Paul through active participation on the Board; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Matt Anfang has provided strong support for upgrades in technology, a strong capital improvement program, including buried infrastructure replacement and treatment process upgrades and, most importantly support for all SPRWS employees; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Matt Anfang has shown this commitment through his ongoing dedication to the Board of Water Commissioner evidenced by his 20 years as Commissioner, the past 8 of those as Board President; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Matt Anfang has sought to gain insight and knowledge of drinking water operations by volunteering to attend numerous meetings, trainings and industry conferences. He shared this knowledge with his fellow commissioners and the employees of SPRWS by speaking countless times at meetings and staff training events; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Board of Water Commissioners hereby extends to Matt Anfang its sincere thanks for his dedicated work as a member of the Board; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board extends to Matt Anfang its best wishes in his future endeavors.
