Amending the financing and spending plans in the General Government account in the amount of $78,581 for the funding received for the Emergency Services Program (ESP) COVID-19 Response Fund.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul applied for and received funding of $78,581 from ESP COVID-19 Response funding distributed by Catholic Charities of Saint Paul and Minneapolis (CCSPM),
on behalf of the Department of Human Services, Office of Economic Opportunity for the Fire Department, Police Department and Parks Department response to the homeless during the COVID-19 pandemic; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul received approval to apply for funding relating to COVID-19 on RES 20-600; and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the funding received; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation of funds $78,581 in excess of those estimated in the 2020 budget; and

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts this grant, and hereby approves the changes to the 2020 budget referenced in this resolution.
