Pertaining to an agreement with KLM Engineering, Inc. to provide professional services for design, inspection, and contract administration for the reconditioning of the Cope Avenue elevated water tower.

WHEREAS, the Board of Water Commissioners desires to obtain professional services required for the reconditioning of the Board’s Cope Avenue elevated water tower; and
WHEREAS, staff solicited proposals from firms qualified to provide said services, and from such proposers does recommend the firm KLM Engineering, Inc. at a cost not to exceed $72,027; and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to enter into an agreement with KLM Engineering, Inc. to provide said services for such reconditioning work; and
WHEREAS, City of Saint Paul Contracts and Analysis Services has prepared Contract No. 2630 between the Board and KLM Engineering, Inc. which sets forth the conditions for such work and which protects the Board’s right, interests, and facilities at a cost not to exceed $72,027; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that Contract No. 2630 between the Board of Water Commissioners and KLM Engineering, Inc. is hereby approved and that the proper officers of the Board are hereby authorized and directed to execute Contract No. 2630 on behalf of the Board.
