Authorizing the City to enter into a Cooperative Agreement with MnDOT and Ramsey County regarding Ramsey County's Lexington Parkway Realignment Project.
Body
WHEREAS, Ramsey County's Lexington Parkway Realignment Project includes work adjacent to Trunk Highway 5; and
WHEREAS, MnDOT will participate in the costs of the sidewalks, traffic signals and storm sewer construction adjacent to Trunk Highway 5; and
WHEREAS, the City will be provide for maintenance of the sidewalks, traffic signal system and drainage structures upon, along, and adjacent to Trunk Highway No. 5 within the corporate limits of the City under State Project No. 6201-93 (T.H. 5=111), as outlined in this Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the Cooperative Agreement contains an indemnification clause in favor of the State, which City Council finds appropriate to effectuate the purpose of the Agreement; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to enter into MnDOT Agreement Number 1032731, a copy of which is before Council and is made a part hereof; and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
