Approving adverse action against the Second Hand Dealer License application submitted by World of Wireless Communications, Inc., d/b/a World of Wireless (License ID #20190002733) at 814 White Bear Avenue North.

WHEREAS, the Second Hand Dealer license application submitted by World of Wireless Communications, Inc. d/b/a World of Wireless (License ID #20190002733) for the premises located at 814 White Bear Avenue North in Saint Paul were the subject of a Notice of Intent to Deny License dated March 31, 2020; and
WHEREAS, the Notice stated the application submitted was pending until the licensee obtained an Department of safety and inspections (DSI) Zoning Division approval, all necessary building/trade permits and associated required inspection approvals to authorize a change in use of the space, and an DSI Fire Inspection Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) inspection from DSI Fire Inspector Laura Huseby; and
WHEREAS, the applicant did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Deny License by obtaining DSI Zoning Division approval or take any other requested steps; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Deny License stated that if the licensee failed to obtain DSI Zoning Division approval, all necessary building/trade permits and associated required inspection approvals to authorize a change in use of the space, and DSI Fire Inspection Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) inspection by April 14, 2020, that the matter would be placed on the City Council consent agenda; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Second Hand Dealer license application submitted by World of Wireless Communications, Inc. d/b/a World of Wireless (License ID #20190002733) for the premises located at 814 White Bear Avenue North in Saint Paul is hereby denied.
