Approving adverse action against the Taxicab Driver application submitted by Steven Joseph Asmussen (License ID #20040004155).
Body
WHEREAS, the Taxicab Driver license application submitted by Steven Joseph Asmussen (License ID #20040004155) for the City of Saint Paul was the subject of a Notice of Intent to Deny License dated February 18, 2020; and
WHEREAS, October 15, 2019, during a routine criminal history check as part of the license application process the Department of Safety and Inspections learned that the Licensee had 5 driving violations within the last 3 years; and
WHEREAS, based on this information and pursuant to Saint Paul Legislative Code Section 376.15 (e) 4 (c) the licensing office has recommended that the Licensee’s application is denied; and
WHEREAS, the applicant did not respond to the February 18, 2020 Notice of Intent to Deny License by requesting a public hearing, Administrative hearing or withdraw the license application by March 3, 2020 now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Taxicab Driver license application submitted by Steven Joseph Asmussen (License ID# 20040004155) for the City of Saint Paul is hereby denied.
