Amending Council Files No. RLH AR 20-14 to reduce the assessment for Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during July to September 2019 at 851 ASHLAND AVENUE. (File No. CG1904A1, Assessment No. 190144)

WHEREAS on March 11, 2020, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. AR 20-14 to delete the assessment for Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during July to September 2019. (File No. CG1904A1, Assessment No. 190144); and
WHEREAS, the property at 851 Ashland Avenue, being described as: Bryant’s Addition to St Paul Lot 18 Blk 1, with the property identification number 02-28-23-13-0043 was assessed an amount of $233.53; and
WHEREAS, Department of Public Works staff recommends reducing the assessment because property owner was billed for two 95-gallon carts at the property when they only had one 95-gallon cart;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer concurs with the recommendation; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the reduction of $233.53, plus any accrued interests, be reduced to $102.44. Council File No. RLH AR 20-14 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
