Approving the waiver of 2020 application fees for the Neighborhood STAR Program.

WHEREAS, on January 22, 2020, via Resolution #20-97 the Saint Paul City Council approved Guidelines for the Neighborhood STAR Program; and
WHEREAS, current Neighborhood STAR Guidelines require applicants submit an application fee of $75 for proposals under $25,000 and $125 fee for applications requesting $25,000 or more; and
WHEREAS. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, a waiver of STAR Guidelines is now being recommended for the elimination of application fees for the 2020 Cycle of the Neighborhood STAR Program; now be it
RESOLVED, upon the recommendation of the Mayor, the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby authorizes and directs the appropriate City officials to execute the necessary documents to implement this Resolution, subject to approval by the City Attorney; and be it
FINALLY RESOLVED, staff of the Department of Planning and Economic Development are further authorized and directed to proceed with all other actions necessary to implement this Resolution.
