Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Public Works Capital and Operating Budgets for the 2020 Saint Paul Streets Projects.

 

Body

WHEREAS, there is a need to add $1,151,318 Sewer funding and $2,369,996 of Water funding to the 2020 Griggs/Scheffer Residential Phase I Project; and

 

WHEREAS, there is a need to transfer $118,500 from the General Fund and $118,500 of assessment funding into the 2020 Como Avenue Project for the mill and overlay of Eustis Street, which was added to the project scope; and

 

WHEREAS, there is a need to add $95,100 of funding from the City of Lauderdale to the 2020 Como Avenue Project for work done in the City of Lauderdale; and

 

WHEREAS, the 2020 Como Project needs additional funding due to higher estimated project costs and the 2017 Como Project has Municipal State Aid funding that is available for transfer; and

 

WHEREAS the Department of Public Works plans to transfer $660,000 of Municipal State Aid funding into the 2020 Como Avenue Project from the 2017 Como Project; and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there is available for appropriation funds of $3,616,414; and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.4 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there is available for transfer of appropriation funds of $897,000; and

 

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $3,616,414 is available for appropriation and $897,000 is available for transfer of appropriation in the Capital Improvement and Operating Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvements Budgets in the following particulars:
