Authorizing the acceptance of a grant in the amount of $12,500 from Libraries Without Borders and amending the 2020 Financing and Spending Plans in the Library Agency

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Public Library has been awarded a grant in the amount of $12,500 from Libraries Without Borders; and
WHEREAS, the grant will fund the costs of staff time and materials to work at laundromats: and
WHEREAS, the grant will provide opportunities for local communities to interact with library staff, programs, and services at the laundromat; and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans for these monies has not been established; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.7.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriations funds of $12,500 in excess of those estimated in the 2020 budget and recommends the changes to the 2020 budget described in the attached fiscal analysis; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Library Board approves the changes to the 2020 Budget, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that said budget, as heretofore adopted by the Library Board is hereby amended as indicated in the attached fiscal analysis form.
