Returned Mail/Notice Concerns?:

Stated Reason for Appeal (if given): Per Ramsey County and DSI record, the property is still listed as 2 family dwelling and I currently have 2 carts. However the property is a single family unit I should only pay for one 96 gallon cart.  I have been trying to change this for the past three years. In 2017 I presented plan to convert to a single family swelling. I have called Ramsey County numerous times and there still has been no change in status of my property

Staff Comments: City records indicate a certificate of occupancy for two units. Ramsey County Records also indicate that property is a two family dwelling. Therefore staff recommends approving the assessment.

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section has attached to this Council File both a report of completion outlining the costs and fees associated with Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during July to September 2019. WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed an appeal of this assessment and developed a recommendation for the City Council with respect to this assessment; and

WHEREAS, a public hearing having been conducted for the above improvement, and said assessment having been further considered by the Council and having been considered financially satisfactory; Now, Therefore, Be It
