Knight Foundation Gift Acceptance

WHEREAS, the Knight Foundation Learning Exchange is being held in Miami, FL on January, 22-24, 2020; and
WHEREAS, the Knight Foundation Library Directors Convening on February 23-24, 2020 is also being held in Miami, FL; and
WHEREAS, the Knight Foundation wishes to donate expenses to cover airfare and hotel accommodations to support two Library Staff member to attend each of these events; and
WHEREAS, attendance will further the Library’s strategic direction goals of supporting an inclusive and innovative local economy; igniting curiosity and building skills for an increasingly technology-driven world; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul Public Library Board hereby accepts the gift of travel and lodging for two Library staff members to attend the Learning Exchange and the Library Directors Convening and thanks the Knight Foundation for its generous gift.
