Changing the rate of pay for Payroll Specialist in EG 01, AFSCME Clerical. (Laid over from January 8 for adoption)

Body

WHEREAS, the Office of Human Resources conducted a job study for the classification of Payroll Specialist of Employee Group 01, AFSCME Clerical; and

WHEREAS, the results of the job study instruct that the rate of pay for Payroll Specialist be changed from Grade 030 to the rate set forth in Grade 032; now therefore, be it

RESOLVED, pursuant to City Charter Sections 6.03.3(5) and 12.01, that the rate of pay for the Payroll Specialist be changed from Grade 030 to Grade 032 of EG 01, AFSCME Clerical. This resolution shall take effect and be in force on the first pay period following its passage and approval and the rate of pay be retroactive back to 9/28/2019.
