WHEREAS on November 13, 2019, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council Files RLH AR 19-138, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessment for Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during April to June 2019. (File No. CG1903E3, Assessment No. 190139)
WHEREAS, the property at 597 Hazel Street North, being described as: Robert L. Ware’s Eastern Heights N 100 Ft of Lots 1 and Lot 2 Blk 6, with the property identification number 35-29-22-23-0001 was assessed an amount of $413.36; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommended reducing the assessment from $413.36 to $116.65 because there was an error in billing as owner had two accounts listed for the property when they should have only one; Now, Therefore Be It,
RESOLVED, that Council Files RLH AR 19-138 is hereby reduced to $116.65 and the Office of Financial Services will abate this reduction from the 2020 Property Taxes Statement amended to reflect this change.
