Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Appellant included an Order to Vacate dated 8/15/19 with this appeal, but staff found a vacant building document dated 9/9/19 that is timely.  That is what is being appealed.

AMENDED 12/4/19

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Genarro Moten to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 579 FOREST STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal grant until November 26, 2019 to be released from the Vacant Building Program if the Fire Certificate of Occupancy (Fire C of O) is reinstated; if the Fire C of O is not reinstated, the property must be vacated by January 1, 2020; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
