Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department in the amount of $125 for a contribution received from the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce for health and wellness equipment for the firefighters.
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce has awarded a contribution of $125.00 to the Saint Paul Fire Department for health and wellness equipment; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this contribution will be used to pay for health and wellness equipment for the firefighters; and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the contribution received; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $125.00 in excess of those estimated in 2019 budget; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends the additions as specified in the attachment "Saint Paul Chamber of Commerce Financial Analysis $125.00" be made to the 2019 budget; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts this contribution of $125.00 from the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce, extends its sincere appreciation to this organization, and approves the changes to the 2019 budget.
