Staff Comments: According to information provided by Advanced Disposal, the propery owner set up autopay incorrectly. The bank is making payments to account number G5116675, but it should actually be making payments to account number G4001872. Advanced Disposal is not able to change the autopayments--this can only be changed by the property owner with the bank. Advanced Disposal did advise the property owner to correct this error, but the property owner did not do so prior to the Quarter 2 2019 due date. The autopayment was made to the incorrect account number on 5/1/19. Advanced Disposal manually transferred the payment to the correct account on 5/15/19. Because it was transferred after the due date, the account did accrue a late fee. Staff recommends approving the assessment.
