Amending the financing and spending plans in the Office of Financial Services in the amount of $30,000 for a contribution received from the Fund for Cities of Service, Inc.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has received a grant from the Fund for Cities of Service, Inc. which will provide 2 AmeriCorps VISTA members and $30,000 in Grant Funds for the Cities of Service City Hall AmeriCorps VISTA Experience Matters Program for the 2019-2020 program year; and
WHEREAS, the total amount of the grant is $30,000; and
WHEREAS, the stipend for the VISTA members is paid for by Cities of Service separate from this grant; and
WHEREAS, the City authorized the Office of Financial Empowerment to accept this grant as outlined in RES 19-1362; and
WHEREAS, the original grant amount was $25,000 and it was later amended to a total $30,000; and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the grant; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriations funds of $30,000 in excess of those estimated in the 2019 budget; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council that $30,000 is available for appropriation in the 2019 budget, and said budget, as heretofore adopted by Council, is hereby amended as outlined in the attached financial analysis.
