Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Public Works Capital Budget by adding Ramsey County funding into the 2018 Signalized Intersection Safety Improvements Program for the replacement of the traffic signal at Lexington and St. Clair.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul had a project to construct traffic signal system at Lexington Parkway and St. Clair Avenue; and

 

WHEREAS, Ramsey County has agreed to provide payment to the City for the County cost share as stated in Ramsey County Agreement PW2019-19, which was authorized by Council Resolution 19-1373; and

 

WHEREAS, there is a need to add $135,000 of Ramsey County funding in to the 2018 Signalized Intersection Safety Improvement Program; and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there is available for appropriation funds of $135,000.

 

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $135,000 is available for appropriation in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the following particulars:
