Approving the Mayor's appointments of Alex Migambi, Stefan Landreau Vallenga, and Charles Deneen to the Police Civilian Internal Affairs Review Commission.

WHEREAS, Saint Paul Legislative Code Section 102.02 (a) states that the Police Civilian Internal Affairs Review Commission consists of nine (9) members appointed by the mayor with the consent of the council; and
WHEREAS, Human Rights and Equal Economic Opportunity staff and commissioners have reviewed applications and conducted interviews of interested applicants; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Saint Paul Legislative Code Section 102.02 (b), the Director of Human Rights and Equal Economic Opportunity leadership have recommended Alex Migambi and Stefan Landreau Vallenga and Charles Deneen for appointment as commissioners; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Carter wishes to appoint Alex Migambi and Stefan Landrequ Vllenga and Charles Deneen to the Police Civilian Internal Affairs Review Commission to their first three-year terms ending on October 23, 2022; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council consents to the appointment of Alex Migambi and Stefan Landrequ Vllenga and Charles Deneen to the Police Civilian Internal Affairs Review Commission to their first three-year terms ending on October 23, 2022.
