Accepting the gift of the costs of travel expenses from Race Forward for the Saint Paul Chief Equity Officer Toni Newborn to attend the Results for America Summit in Washington D.C. from October 4 to October 5, 2019.

WHEREAS, Race Forward has invited the Chief Equity Officer to attend the Results for America Summit in October, and has offered to pay the costs of travel expenses; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Equity Officer will present to conference attendees on ways to incorporate the equity impact assessment tool into municipal work; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul finds that attendance at the convening will be beneficial to the City by furthering the city’s equity intiatives and outreach; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts the gift of the cost of travel expenses to the Results for America Summit, and thanks Race Forward for its generous gift.
