Accepting the gift of travel expenses from the Women in Public Finance National Chapter for Sarah Brown, Treasury Analyst, to attend the Women in Public Finance conference in Austin, Texas.

WHEREAS, the Women in Public Finance is a non-profit, educational and professional networking organization for women in the public finance industry has invited Sarah Brown, Treasury Analyst, to join the conference host committee and attend the conference in Austin, Texas; and
WHEREAS, this will be an opportunity for the City of Saint Paul to hear from national leaders in the field of public finance and to network with others in this field; and
WHEREAS, the Women in Public Finance has offered to pay for the costs of registration as well as some hotel and food expenses; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul find that attendance at the conference will be beneficial to the City in enhancing the City’s work in the field of public finance; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts the gift of the cost of registration as well as some hotel and food expenses to the Women in Public Finance conference, and thanks the Women in Public Finance National Chapter for its generous gift.
