Appeal of Tom Gergen, TR Group LLC, to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 505 FOREST STREET.

 

Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, September 10, 2019, 2:30 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  I hired a company to perform the C of O required repairs.  I thought they did the work.  Unfortunately, they never did.  I have hired a reputable contracting company who has submitted the paperwork for the permit that is needed for the repairs.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Tom Gergen, TR Group LLC, to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 505 FOREST STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive the vacant building fee for 90 days and grant to October 1, 2019 to get Fire Certificate of Occupancy reinstated; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
